Hi Guys I am helping a mate of mine with a 2011 C ABS system, he has had it bled twice at a main dealer and after a period of time ( a month or so) the abs light starts flashing and the dealer says it need bleeding again, he has decided to remove the ABS system completely so he wont have the light flashing anymore and back to non abs brakes, my question is does anyone have a link or diagram or guidelines on exactly what is needed to fully remove the lot

    Thank in advance

I think you have two options if you have this generation of ABS

    a) learn to bleed and maintain it yourself considering that many dealers don’t know how to service it properly

    b) strip it off the bike

I just pull the fuse when I take the bike on the track, but I may strip it off the bike at any time in the future.

Yep, just pulled the fuse and grounded the ABS light, just like the non ABS but 12kg heavier lol
