For sale is my stunning Honda Fireblade in (my opinion) the best colour combo. The bike is immaculate, comes with FSH, very low miles (15k) and with only two previous owners. I've owned the bike for the nearly 7 years. The bike is faultless, runs, rides and stops as it should - mechanically A1. It has been cossetted and polished more than ridden and never seen rain. It has been used purely for sunny rides at weekends and has only seen the track the once! It is the non ABS version. I can honestly say that apart from routine maintenance, the bike has been completely faultless throughout my ownership and a delight to own. The bike is stunning, the photos simply do not do it justice. It comes with an aftermarket Yoshimura exhaust (with baffle) and heat shield, which adds a lovely sound without being too loud. It also has a R&G tail tidy, GB Racing engine casing, but other than that, bike is pretty much standard. Just been serviced and MOT'd, so all ready for new owner. I'll be very sad to it go, I have a new bike and it's just not getting used. Any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. First to see will buy! (I'm located in Herts) £SOLD
What's people's opinion on my price, looking around Autotrader / eBay etc I thought it's very well priced, considering it's condition and mileage, it really is mint. I've only had 1 serious enquiry in two weeks who decided he was too far away. Just surprised I've not had more interest.
I'd say its reasonably priced for that age and mileage, I'm surprised you've not had more interest! Where have you got it advertised?? Back tyre 'might' make some think its been thrashed on track......just sayin
It's 13 years old and 1000miles away from a valve clearance check, I would say closer to £4500 if you want a sale quicker. Take all the aftermarket parts off and sell it standard, then sell the other bits on separately.
Hi thanks for the replies. I’ve only got it advertised on auto-trader so far. Yeah I get the point about the rear tyre, the irony is I’ve only ever done one track day but that happened to be the last time I used it, apart for taking it for its recent MOT and service. it’s had its big valve clearance service done at 14k miles. having said that I’m not mentioning any of these things in the ad.
I've recently sold my 2013 blade to a bike trader as less hassle for the sake of £500 than I wanted, there's not many people have 6k cash sitting around at the moment where they can go pay a monthly of £200 rather than buy outright. its a buyer market at the moment as everyone is trying to free up some cash to pay to live in my opinion. Good luck with your sale
I've always had good results with ebay classifieds, there's no final selling fees and you can really go to town with the description. I'd say you do get a few more messers on ebay though compared to autotrader but perhaps a larger audience? I'd hold your nerve for a bit, and maybe hope to take a small hit with a closest offer. Good luck.
Autotrader in the end, and yeah got asking price. I knew the first to see would buy as it was immaculate, I would rather of kept it than let it go for cheap. He's local to me too so I'm hoping I might see it out and about occasionally
I have to see mine all the time......she drops the kids off every weekend!! Drives off shouting out the window 'see you later....suckerrrr'
