Hi - I'm stuck with removing my mirrors as I'm not sure where or how to disconnect the indicator wiring.
There is a bolt on the underside of the mirror which I have removed, thinking that the mirror housing would separate, but it didn't and I didn't want to force anything.
Do I need to trace the wiring from around the head fairing or can it be disconnected from the mirror end?
Appreciate any help. Want them removed to ship to carbon-wrappers! Thanks

There are plug connectors behind the nose cone for each indicator, remove the bolts holding the mirrors in place and then undo the screen bolts holding the screen to the clock harness, remove the mirrors then you should be able to access the connectors by teasing the cowl forward a touch and tracing the wires, about 6".

The cables behind the clock have a large waterproof rubber sheath/grommit thing around them.

Trace the wire from the wingmirror and see where it dissapears behind the clocks.
If you poke your finger in then you'll feel the rubber sheath. Gently ease the cable and sheat out (ooer missus).

It's a bit awkward because it's tucked in on itself (like an S shape).
Once you locate it and get one side out then you'll know what I mean.

There are 2 wires in total you need to disconnect. Needs a slim screwdriver to unclip and then the wingmirror can be unbolted and removed in one go.
No need to remove the screen or anything else :)

Make sure you dont try it when the fairing is
    Really cold.
