Having thought about a change of bike from my current 954 i am coming round to the fact that i don't want to buy a CB1000R 2008 bike with a 2013/2014 reg plate on it, so have been looking at the newer designed MV Agusta Brutale, does anybody have direct experience of the newer models (675/800/1090/1090R).

The right ups i have seen on the 675 are very good indeed. Ta.

I know this does not meet what you asked Hudson but I had a 910 Brutale and I have always regretted selling it. The move from faired to naked is the big thing IMO, I found high speeds so uncomfortable I stopped riding very very fast......which was probably a good thing.

I added a small screen to mine and it made a bit of difference. I loved my Brutale, sounded awesome, masses of low down grunt and was still good for about 150 mph if you could hang on lol.

There is a dealer on the Siverstone site, can't remember their name but they are exceptionally helpful and would probably be able to fix up a test ride. The Brutale out of the box, used to be set up massively hard on the suspension which gave an awful ride on a bumpy road, but when dialed in softer was like a different bike and handled exceptionally well.

If you want something different, looks beautiful, awesome acceleration and sounds like a bike should, then try one out. Downside of course is the cost of servicing and repairs. Sorry if this does not help but doubt many on here have owned a modern one and thought this might be better than nothing.

Good luck in your search. Tuono is an awesome bike too, but not as pretty lol

Thanks for that, i know the rarity of the bikes is one of the attractions but it could also because one of the problems if parts etc are needed. I will have a test ride of one of the newer ones and go from there, thanks again.
