2012 Blade Speed Limited

    I just read in PB that the 2012 model is limited to 175mph. What happened to 186? Or preferably, no electronic limitation.

    Sounds like a gentlemans agreement to me. Suzuki has also limited there gixer thou.
    Maybe a bit like what the Germans did with their cars, and limited them to 155???

    Does that mean the new Blade is going to need a TRE like the Zuki then?

    The gentlemen's agreement already exists at 186mph. PB said it appears to be limited, but no details of exactly how. It won't just be the gearing though.

    186 is the agreement... My guess is try are restricting top end for some bullshit eu emission law.....

    Anybody care to test this statement (safely)

    Or as safe as you can test a 175mph limiter

    I will give it a go on the A303 :) just need someone to lend me their new 2012 blade ....... shouldn't be a problem, if i am prepared to take a risk, so should they lol :)
