    Hey guys

Just wandering how many litres there is left when the petrol light comes on?
I see a counter starts counting and am i correct in saying it starts at 0.1 litre?
Im a bit confused with this, if someone could clear this up for me would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks :)

If it is the same as the 2011 model, it counts up. By reading the manual it states that the 11 model has .77 litres so Im working on the theory that .7 is Danger time.
furthest Ive panic'd with was 0.5 so far

3.7 gallon tank, so after 3 gallon the light comes on then counts up in .1 .2 .3 and so on until .7 then its time to push ..

0.6 is my limit. If you don't push it to a petrol station when u run dry and park it up.It may not be there when you come back.

I have the 2012 model also. it counts up in 10ths of a litre used since going into reserve. it will flash at a faster rate once you get to 1.0. With a brimmed tank it lights up once 13 litres have been used, with the full tank capacity being 17.7. So far i've managed to get it flashing 3.5 at me... I was a long way from a petrol station and started to panic a bit i must say! I squeezed 17 litres in when i finally filled up!

Thanks bud, so would you say its safe to run till it reads 3.0? which should leave 1 litre spare if i fill up at 3.0?

Can I ask why you even bother to run it as low?

Why not fill it up sooner and not take the risk, or is that not possible.?

I would say from my own experience that yes, it's fine to run it to 3.0 however I wouldn't advise you to do so if you can help it...! In the event of being stuck without a fuel stop it should give you some peace of mind. I will add though that the fuel gauge isn't perfect - I find that when filling up I can normally put own an extra half litre (when in the reserve) compared to what the readout tells me I've used, and that's with filling up to the exact same point each time. Something worth checking on yours, then you'll know with some certainty just how little you really have left during the countdown stage.

Does it flash Litres or Gallons?

I set my computer on my 08-11 to monitor mpg rather than mpl and it takes miles n miles to count up each tenth.

@Wedgie. Yes the light still stays on for a bit before it registers that you got more motion lotion

Depends on whether you have the clocks set to KM or miles I think.
Mine got to 0.7 gallons before running dry.

    Hey

Yeh it does take a little while for the petrol light to go off after filling up, i also noticed this when i first got my blade. nothing to worry about.
