Hi All, I would like your opinions/advice on what you think my 2012 HRC c-abs would be worth IF I put it up for sale? I have had a change in circumstances and will probably need to move the blade on ...I'm not sure I want with the hassle of ebay or Autotrader but a friendly local (non Honda) dealer has offered to do a 'sell on behalf' but no serious figures have been discussed...yet
I'm not looking for another bike for the foreseeable future as I still have an old CBR600f to hack about on as and when the chance arises
    General info:
Bought new by myself 27th June 2012 from Marshalls in P'boro. No finance outstanding
    Serviced at Marshalls 27/07/2012 @ 599 miles.
White HRC with c-abs. As far as i can see its mint, always cleaned after a ride, polished and I've been caught out in the rain once...not happy!
    Mileage now is 1135 ish
I have the following parts fitted:
    ASV shorty levers
    R&G tail tidy
    R&G offset rear bobbins
    R&G swingarm bobbins
    R&G front fork sliders
    R&G Hugger
    R&G rad guard
    Datatool Alarm
    Genuine Honda seat cowl
HRC tank protector & filler protector
    Datatool heated grips
    Honda Gel Seat (e-cushion)
    Honda tank bag
Powerbronze dark tint double bubble screen
    All standard parts are included

Also I have the following that would be included in the sale?
Yoshi stainless and carbon slip on with the hole in the s bend for the o2 sensor
Also 2 heat shields for the Yosh 1 x 2008 - 2011 bikes and 1 for the 2012 onwards as it a different shape.
    Power commander 5 PCV
    K&N air filter

Looking around on various websites and dealer sites the values seem up and down and some are snapped up and others are sitting around?

I know if I strip all the goodies off and advertise them it will bring in a few quid and sell the bike as standard but with the bits on it should/would/maybe? make it more desirable?

Sell the likes of the exhaust, power commander , and ir filter on here.
Then sell the bike as is with all the sensible mods on it. It will definitely sell better that way.

Price wise without seeing the bike, but as you say in mint condition around the £8.5k mark

As above, put back to as standard as possible and sell all the bits separate - you will get a lot more that way. I'd say £8000 to £8500 private sale, a Honda dealer near me has a 62 reg 0 miles HRC ABS for £9700.

Hi Mr H, I have same bike as you, if you end up selling the exhaust, 2012 infill panel, power commander and filter I would be interested. Hope your sale goes well.

It’s never good to hear about an enforced toy sale. Been there got the T shirt, No, hang on a minute; I don't, she had the T shirt off my back as well.

Hope you get what you want for it, not prying but whatever the situation is you will bounce back mate.

eight and a half K, its a cruel world out there, not even run in, its getting harder and harder to justify a new bike purchase unless its deeply discounted IMO. Feel for you bud

Thanks for the replies and pm's everyone, I just wanted to know about the value. Ive spent a lot of money and time getting the blade how I want it.
Just to make it clear.: I'm not not getting divorced, not being forced to sell I may be going on a 6-12 month trip to set up a new part of our business and probably won't get much or any use out of the blade! But to take a 3.5 - 4k hit in under a year is not about to happen!
I happy having the goodies in the boxes if I do decide to fit them and make changes to the blade.
Thanks for the offers of buying bits but as I originally said I'm only thinking of selling!
You will be the first to know if I do though!
Thanks again. ..especially Barney for posting pics of the carbon bits that I now need soooooo badly :D
