I don't think the exhaust matches the bike

Must admit, that whats always put me off of ex-demo's..........I know there is a school of thought that says running in hard is good for them but i don't subscribe to that. I suspect most people out on a 20 mile test rode or so don't really care it has 250 miles or whatever on the clock.

So, for me i'll be the guy paying £2k more to be the first name in the log book even though rationally that doesn't sit well with me.

Really? I thought it looked better with the new lower than with the previous 8-11. particularly on the white as it has the lighter silver colour. Obviously doesn't look as good as Nutty Tarts who adapted a yoshi infill to fit the akra though.

Most people out on a 20 mile test ride don't give a sh1t at all about the bike, let alone show any mechanical sympathy towards it. Yeah different schools of thought towards running in but there's running in then there's abuse I think a demo falls into the later.

As you say I would be a lot happier paying the extra for the "new" bike, as it is for me I'm paying less than that anyway for my "new" one ;)

That exhaust does look a bit chunky, think I'm going to go for the Akra race system in carbon.

Isn't that exhaust just the same as the sports pack akra that have been fitted to the 08-11 blades? Probably just the angle the photo taken from as I've rarely heard complaints about the akra pipe before. Might go see if I can find a similar shot of an earlier bike to compare.

I think you could be right, could just be the low down angle

I'd rather and did pay the extra for a brand new blade. But it's everyone to there own.
Silencer looks poor but not as poor as my Arrow GP2 absolute pants!

When are Taylor Made going to bring the new carbon cover for the 2012???

Sorry my mistake, l meant they need to make a cover which fits the 2012 as the 08 -11 wont fit the new fairings
