2012 Rear Shock spring rate

    As i know a few of you, myself inc have a 2012 rear shock to fit on 08+ blades.... while 2012 shock isnt in bike yet, is there any upgrades can do it yet, would it benifit from re-valve etc for my weight
    Or will just a spring for my weight do?

    anyone know the spring rate/what weight rider it for?? as hopefully i may be ok! im around 165lbs with gear ish i think :p

    Bats had his respiring by Maxton . Purple spring to so looks mint

    I have a 2012 rearshock on my 09 model and the spring is fine for my weight at 190 kgs, even though i have set mine slightly less than the standard setting.

    Peter do you have a aftermarket honda hugger? i no the standard plastic 1's wont fit, but i got a honda repsol 1 hoping will fit ok
    Did you mean pounds?? as 190kg is 418lbs

    Hi mate ive got the 12 shock in my 011 with the 12 standard hugger ;)

    The spring is like any other standard spring and thats ok for up to 12 stone max after that if you want it right then get a spring!!

    ahhh thats what i wanted to hear! spring is good enough for me then :) saves me some cash ill swap it over soon

    whats the min weight a 2012 shock spring can do :) got mine coming tomorrow

    how long did yours take to get done bats?

    Min weight not a clue mate!!

    It took about 6-7 weeks but i sent it them 4 weeks before the bike had even beed released so was all done from scratch ;)

    Basically took it to em to be re sprung for my weight but before they did it it was run on a bench dyno! the damping is miles better than the 2008 to 2011 but still goes off when hot something you will only cure with high end replacements ;)

    So had it re sprung and comp/rebound set not a bad mod tbh shock 110 inc p&p and 108 for spring ;)

    ahh sweet yeah good price! hopefully will hold out nice on track cant get that hott, not out there long enough on track days really

    Ill stick my in soon when weather dodgy again shame cant do it outside! i think ill be ok with standard spring for my weight
