im thinking of changing the wheels on my 2010 hrc anyone know if the 2012 model wheels will fit direct? are the discs that same offset etc? cheers Willie
They are the same fit yes. Only thing you need to look out for is if you have an ABS model, you will need the wheels off of a 2012 ABS bike.
They my be slightly heavier, but it's where the weight is centralised that improves the gyroscopic effect.
So what your saying Colin is it doesn't matter that I'm a fat fecker if its all in the right place I could be quicker than Marquez
Lol, I'm a fine one to talk. Still denial thinking I'm going to loose the 3 stone I've gained since quitting smoking last year
Thanks. those SP wheels are tidy although my hrc is a non abs model. the plan is to convert to a suzuka 8hr looka alike. i've a new headlight unit & a old cracked top fairing im going to plastic & fill one of the lights for a numberboard. There's a wee bit of surgery involved as i'll have to remove the lense to get the numbeboard flush but its nothing that cant be done. Only thing is i'll have to put the light on the other side & its dip beam only Who needs main beam any way!!
I'm not scared of Andy But want carbon dymag or BST's but then again they would look nice with the ohlins that's arriving today
