    Hi Folks,

I am contemplating selling my cracking blade. Bought new in June 2013 & hardly used - only 1000 miles. Will have its second service soon. Pretty standard bike with a few essentials ( R & G rad guard, tail tidy & crash bungs & tank guard). In lovely condition as you would expect for a bike that's less than two years old. Do you reckon I should get £8500+?

Check the ads and ebay for a guide. There is a shortage of good second hand bikes and prices are up but yours may be too new to figure in this. My own opinion obviously.

I will say tho I just sold a K5 Gixer 1000 for £4000 plus a couple of hundred for a few bits and the dealers were offering around £3300-£3500 against used at £8499 and £4200 against a new bike at £12k.

I could buy a year old gixer thou at the dealers for £8499 but I could buy brand new zero miles at £8600 pre Reg or £8999 for a new one at selected dealers as there as new stock coming.

Depends if U are trading for a new un?

Got £8350 for my 2013 against a new ZX10R at £12300 with 4K on the clocks but that did include the private plate of MY13 LUK which cost me £500

I paid £8200 for my 2012 ABS last year with under 2K on the clock. I was happy with the price.
