Looking at the info The Firebloke has recently added I think its time we as a group are better informed as the whereabouts of camera vans ...speed traps and routes of recent interest .What we don't need is the usual cops this ,and that ,should catch a burglar ,its old hat and also we have blade riding decent cop dudes on the forum so just a basic line Camera van spotted A55 near blogs town roundabout at 2 pm 14.2.23 .Lets see how we go but it should paint a picture of new vehicles / methods ect

Good thinking, that man! And we can add unmarked vehicles to that if poss.

Could the moderators make it adhesive?

Could it be split into different areas? ie if I was mooching over the Beacons and I knew S Wales plod had a red Ford etc reg gw62... cruising around the Abergavenny area on Saturday mornings...most helpful!

bloody good idea. more of a , if people don't they they should do by reading this thread. Seen many a thread like this on forums and always comes in handy to know of areas that have issues and thus the police need to keep a eye on speeds

plus the use of Unmarked car's is always a good idea to make sure we never hold them up when they need to get to a accident or incident

    Cracking thinking Mike

Derbyshire Police - Spotted on A515 Ashbourne to Buxton road
Black BMW M5 - Satnav 'fin' at back of roof - single stubby antena just in front - Blacked out rear and side window, no stickers or name on plate. 62 Plate I think but very new and stealthy

I followed it for miles on Sunday

Should add mobile camera locations to the member map... People could use the map to plan routes and understand where mobile sites are etc.

Ive seen these threads turn into 40 pages, then you never read all the pages

PocketGPSWorld Subscription (about £19 a year) + CamerAlert on the mobile (Android and iOS). Trouble with mobile locations is that they are added and removed on a regular basis.

If Mike tried this and the thread goes the way I know similar thread have grown, the first post will be HUGE. and take too much time to update

But thats just my thought. Mike may want to update his first post?

Can this be split up by counties? Police forces or services or whatever they're called? Would that make it more manageable?

M25 around the A217 - A22, Silver BMW 5 Series Estate, Reg - RV12 ???. They use to have a Blue Ford Focus ST also around the same area (last year, not sure if it's still around)

M23-A23, Silver Audi A4 or A6, Blue BMW 5 Series saloon.

A27 dark blue BMW M/Bike K1000RT type model, rider wearing black textiles and white helmet (last year)

A27/A22, Silver Audi A3 with blacked out rear and side windows. Last year they also had a silver A4 estate.

A22 near Crowborough, Silver Audi A4 S3 saloon (last year)

Kent police have a Seat Cupra R flying around so i've heard.

And a Scoobie Impreza in the full blue and gold State555 livery with blacked out windows etc
Seen it pull over loads on the A2, along with a garage full of unmarked 3 and 5 series.

The issue here is that they are running so many unmarked, you cannot ride thinking evey car is
    Police, thats their aim.

Ultimately there is a time to make progress and a time not to, you roll the dice, you takes your chance.

I feel a bit uneasy coming through the Blackwall Tunnel everyday for work, that's as far north as I go.
