I decided I needed a break from DIY and our gloomy hall stairs and landing, so off I went to the bike and decided to clock up a few miles. 150 in total. Weather was great all the way. Even at Hartside Moor, I don't think it was even windy there for a change. As I was on my todd I thought I'd stop and take a few pictures. First off all it was off to Kirkby Lonsdale. I don't normally stop here as it is so close to my home. But I thought I'd better stop for a picky, because if there isn't any photos it didn't really happen. So here we have Kirkby Londale and Devil's Bridge. Kirkby Lonsdale was busy but I have seen it busier admittedly usually earlier in the morning. I only stopped here for 5 minutes then it was off to Hawes via Sedburgh. image by rushforthk, on Flickr image by rushforthk, on Flickr Hawes, usual hive of activity here, chippy queuing out the door folk sat outside all the pubs etc etc etc. image by rushforthk, on Flickr A bit of scenery. This bit is excellent but I find the short bit of road to Melmersby very challenging. image by rushforthk, on Flickr What's wi' this fella? image by rushforthk, on Flickr image by rushforthk, on Flickr One of the views from Hartside image by rushforthk, on Flickr End of part 2
