Hello, looking to purchase a new engine 2014-2016 , but would ideally like a low mileage SP model for the extra few hp. if I was to have an SP engine rebuilt would it just become the same as a regular none SP model as the pistons and rods would no longer be specially selected etc ? Or can you get them rebuilt to SP specs ? Also have the same question for the opposite , could I purchase a regular 08-16 engine and just have it rebuilt to match a 2016 sp specs or would it require porting etc ? many thanks
They made several claims about that sp engine, but it added up to fuck all. It was blueprinted. But with modern Japanese manufacturing, that's unnecessary.
