G'day guys. Finally managed to get a bit of spare time to bolt up the new exhaust and I'm just looking around for a guide or any hints for removing the side fairings from the 2012+ blades. Did a bit of searching but not much came up, a few rough YouTube videos but that's it. Anyone have any advice?
Just take your time and be careful! You could junk the air tube flapper hoses at the same time which makes it a lot easier for next time to take panels off I have a pdf copy of the service manual I'll dig it out and drop you a link for it
I've done it loads recently and it gets easier. Rather than write war and peace here, this guy explains it all very nicely.
Thanks guys. Good to hear that it's easier than the 09. I put the system on my 09 and didn't enjoy it at all so fingers crossed this time it's a bit easier.
Got it sorted! I've gotta say soooo much easier than on the 09. Seems like someone actually put some thought into the practicality of getting the fairing off rather than just the aesthetics.
