Just considering getting a new Blade at the moment and test rode a 14 model today and found the low and midrange bait flat compared to my previous 2012 HRC model.

Does the slip-on exhaust resolve this or is it me?

Doesn't the new 14- bike have longer inlet trumpets?

If so it could explain the slightly lower midrange in the gain for more top end.

Had flat spots on my 2014 with standard exhaust.( @3000rpm and 7000rpm) Replaced with a titanium akrapovic megaphone. This cured the problem without the need for a power commander..

Yes double agree :) I've currently got 2014 - previously had 2012 and 2008 - power delivery doesn't seem any different. I have got an Akra can on but it was fine when standard as well.

I've not ridden many bikes with as much mid range grunt as my15 blade.
