2015 noise from tank after ride!

I’ve noticed after the 1-2 rides I’ve had since I’ve bought the bike I can hear the tank making a noise almost like it’s venting or something!
Is this normal?

 

Yes it is normal on 14 onward blades.

 

Yep, pressure in the tank. Can't remember what year was it 2017 they recalled for new caps.

My Lad's CBR500R was still making the venting noises 5 months after it was last ridden

Yep, 2017 (RA-H) was recalled a few months after launch as the seal around the cap could allow water to get into the tank which would not be ideal.

 

Did the recall apply to the 2014/15/16 bikes as well as they all make the weird breathing sounds from the tank?

 

No recall for those. Both mine do it...its usual. Happens more if you've given it some welly and the tanks emptying I find.
If I open the cap and release the pressure it sometimes stops it groaning....and sometimes it doesn't

 

All my bikes have given a little 'whistle ' after a ride to some degree or other. I think my blades one of the quieter ones.
I had 2 zx10s and they almost screamed until the pressure equalised or as lozzy mentions just pop open the fuel cap and it will stop immediately.
In Any event its perfectly normal and can be completely ignored
