    As per title
Engine management light came on as I was riding, I think it is backfiring a little more but still accelerates as normal.
Turned it off to see if it would reset
Light went out but bike fires but won’t run
Full throttle bike starts runs but engine management light come straight on but still rides ok
    Any ideas please

Got it plugged in today and came up map sensor
Got home and fitted spark plugs and had a look at the pipes and sensor but nothing obvious
So I will have to get the sensor tested and if so buy a new one £250:eek:
    It’s tiny:mad:

Not really an item that goes wrong, would check connectors wiring and air lines to the sensor, unlucky if you would need a new one

So is the MAP sensor inside the air box below the filter?

Should be right lower corner of Air Box (3 Pin) and associated airpipe, check they are seated ok and pipe is not kinked and is attached. Off a 2017 but should be the same

No mate it’s bolted on the bottom of the air box on the right hand side with a pipe going to it

Sensor in today and had trouble starting it
Got it started and run rough
Got up the road and it was revving it’s self up and down
But once throttle was open I could ride it
Then light came on and it ran like it was before with the light on sounds a bit rough but still pulls through the gears
Might have to take it to the thieves

Any blade owners nearby that you could slave in their ECU?

Presume you've got the workshop manual and you've worked through the MAP sensor fault finding?

Once the engine management light is on it still rides ok just sounds a bit lumpy on tick over but still pulls like a train when opened up

That will be because of the open and closed loop effect
