Lots of different questions and sounds like you are just getting into trackdays? If so, I would hold off on expensive upgrades, woolich reflash etc.

Put track fairings, good semi-slick rubber, have your suspension setup by a specialist for YOUR weight and a set of tire warmers. In the beginning money is better spent on track time rather than on upgrading an already very capable bike. Upgrades like suspension, brembo brakes and ECU flash are all great, but to see a real benefit you need to be at a certain level.

    Agree with Martin above.

Note that changing tyre size and sprockets may effect your electronics package (traction control, wheelie control etc), essentially turning that all off. With the rest of the mods you're looking at doing, maybe that wouldn't bother you? But worth being aware of.

Gearbox issue won't be relevant for you at all so don't worry about that.
