Hey guys, I've just gotten a new 17 CBR1000 and confused about the whole slip-on tuning euro 4 thing.... I've been reading as much as I can and seeing mixed info regarding whether a tune is necessary for just a slip on now that we are on euro 4. I emailed Yoshimura and they said all testing was done on a standard tune but recommended a tune. What I'm trying to find out though is if the tune is necessary as the bike leans out or if it is just to maximise performance of the pipe. I'm not really fussed on the performance... just the sound really.... What are your thoughts?
