Did my first track day with my new to me 2019 Fireblade.

Kept forgetting to press the laptime button but managed 2 laps in 3:55 so I'm guessing that's a fastest lap of around 1:56 or 1:57.

I'm happy with that - first time on track with this bike. Saw a couple of other Fireblades as well as an RCV and a Desmosedici.

Stock brakes on the CBR1000 are strong but lacked a little feel of my old Brembos. Some surprise stoppies and a lot of squirreling into the last corner especially.

Will post pictures when they come through :)

That was me too... Even on the non-SP '14 Blade there is a lap timer and I kept forgetting to press the button. I had to take my laps off the camera when I got home. They were a bit disappointing, across the 7 sessions I did, my fastest was about 2 minutes. But to be fair I was in the slow group and was constantly being held up by people pottering around like they were in Sainsbo's carpark. Never mind, I go back on 15/08 and into the Inters. No excuses this time! ✊
