Yestrday afternoon there was a desperate message written on a local FB site as a young lad at up the road had been let down on his prom transport just 3 hours before his prom started, he was desperate for a posh car of some sort to make an entrance. We managed to round up 40+ bikes and a Harley for him to jump on the back off to arrive with some style, was a hit with all the kids, parents etc and have seen nothing but good comments about bikers on all the usual sites about how we all got togeather so quick for someone we didnt even know!
We all pulled up outside his house and all up the road, took him to a big posh hotel and put on a bit of a show with a couple of burn outs and the odd wheelie, no one was interested in the ferrari's etc just us
So bikers look good this week here :D

A few pics (sorry not very clear)

My lad doesn't even want to go to his prom.. Says none of his mates are going. Seems wrong to me but up to him! Saves me money on any transport mind so i'm not putting up to much of a fuss :)

Nice gesture Martin. Teesside Bikers did about five prom escorts last year and they all went down really well and good fun to take part in :)

I dressed up in a DJ and drove a friends daughter to her prom with the roof off the car, doing the whole chauffeur bit but with some handbrake sliding and burn outs for her mates. Her little brother, who has all kinds of attention deficiency issues jumped into the car afterwards shouting that he wanted me to drive him to his prom too.

'Nah you don't. It's too sissy? I told him.

Cue lip trembling sulk until I added. 'I do have a FireBlade you know.'

I thought he was going to faint...

Great gesture and an impressive turn out at such short notice. :)

I offered to take my eldest to his prom on the bike last year (before I got the blade). He turned me down and went in a chauffeur driven Merc with his girlfriend. I would hope that if I offered now I've got the blade - he'd accept :D
