Little advice please ladies and gents

Bought my bike (New) in March, since then i've had the 600 mile service, all over check oil and filter change, had some work done on it at 1960 miles so had it serviced/checked replacing the oil and filter again, just retrieved it from its 4000 mile service (3930 miles) to find all they've done is the oil and filter change again.

I thought the 4000 miler was a fully comprehensive brake bleed, new fluids etc etc ? how long/ what mileage do you normally leave it between bleeds, fluids ? the bikes tucked away under the duvet for the winter now so it's a job for the spring but should it have been done on this last service ?

I've done my own basic servicing since my 09 left its waranty period, oil and filter etc. But I know I'm due (probably overdue) a brake fluid change which I don't fancy tackling myself as it's the dreaded ABS model. I was of the impression this was supposed to be every 2 years, so my thoughts was to put into a dealers to have it done in Spring but I don't know who is the most local trust worthy dealer to do this.

My ABS works fine and I don't want to come out the otherside of a fluid change with a world of pain and faulty ABS.

Officially brake fluid replacement is 12000 miles or 18 months / 2 years (the manual is contradictory) whichever comes first but I think most places won't do it unless specifically asked due to cost, particularly on an ABS.

    Coolant is every 2 years.

I'm in the same situation as bill my ABS is fine so loathe to let anyone fiddle with it at the moment.

    Pretty straightforward.

Remove drain bolt, drain and replace with new washer.

    Fill up at the top.

Bleed any air by running the engine for a few minutes and then snap the throttle 3 or 4 time.

    Top up as necessary.

Julian, if your Bike is a MY12+ then the service intervals are actually 8000 miles not 4K, however once a year is also stipulated if this mileage point aint reached.
