thinking about trying a 55 profile on the back neck time, , but not sure if it would be classed as a modification or not? do any of you with that profile even bother telling them or does it not matter? cheers
Dude, I really wouldn't worry about it.... 90% the time your riding is prob exempt from insurance anyway ha ha
Haha, fair one fella just having a hard time with insurance company's and police at the moment for some reason.
Can't imagine for the life of me a 55 profile would matter, although that's more down to me being daft, loop holes and all that.... Interesting to hear the facts
Honda do list a 190/55 as an approved tyre on the non ABS bikes as I had a fitter refuse to sell me a tyre as it wasn't approved so I rang the main dealer they said it is and fitted it for me
Just had a new bike delivered with a 55 instead of the OEM 50. Told em not to dare to darken my step with a new bike running a 50 series rear! Cost me £70 extra to swap out both front & rear but at least I don't have to suffer the shyte OEM tyres supplied as standard.
Double like ,yes why do they put shite hard compound tyres when you spend the thick end of 13 k beggars belief
