Yes we have a limit on how many post before putting things in the for sale section but the way your posts have been smacks to not just the mods but other members as you can see is that you just upping you posts to get to the for sale section.

just the views I am getting from others as I have no been around much for the weekend

I doubt very much if you're 'The King of Tonga' either.

I wouldn't say upset exactly. It's just that we see this forum as a bit of a community. People chat and help each other with Blade-related stuff. Advice, tips, that sort of thing.

We get a fair few people who register just to use it as a fee-free ebay alternative and then once they've attempted to punt on their stuff they disappear.

The reason that we have a 'For Sale' section is that we like to buy things from other members because, 9 times out of 10, we know the person who's selling having chatted with them over the course of several weeks / months / years and know that whatever they're selling will be in good nick because they wouldn't risk ruining their reputation within the community.

Unlike eBay there's no comeback / no resolution centre / no feedback system on here so theoretically anyone can register, flog their stuff and then sod off.

That's why the mods introduced the minimum post count selling rules at the behest of the members.

"HRH The King Of Tonga" bought the Ventura brackets off me - he has seen the light and now wants to sell his Honda Luggage! Nothing wrong with that! Excellent user to deal with - paid immediately via PayPal. He did have difficulty contacting me via the PM system as he was a new user - hence he had to increase his post count.

Just posted the brackets Royal Mail. Postage was a bit expensive to Tonga though     ;)

    Cheers,

    Ian.

    Very eloquently put, Richard.

We've gotten used to watching each other's back's here and, you have to admit, from our point of view, we'd rather see a members post count go up by them joining in, adding to the craic, or even just introducing themselves and the reason for being here. It doesn't take long. There's enough bollocks being discussed here 24/7 that even such an august presence such as your majesty's wouldn't find it too difficult to take part, that way we'd have gotten to know you and realised that you were on the level all the time, rather than someone just impatient to shift their kit as quick as the rules allow.

We're just one big dysfunctional, special needs, borderline high functioning psychopathic, cross gender onesie wearing, happy family at heart, but the piss takers among us can smell fresh blood in the water in a way that makes a great white shark feel like Helen Keller.

    It's only banter...
