Good evening all, I have acquired a 2000 registered 900RR, with the 16" front wheel

As far as I can tell, the bike is a 1999 model

My question is, what are they like, handling related, with the 16" front wheel?

I have heard numerous stories, mainly from people who have heard from a mates mates granny, and bever actually owned one, so, I am asking those who have

I have found out that one downside to the smaller wheel is tyre choice, apart from that, what are the pro's and cons of the smaller wheel?

    Thanks

I have a 97 and in my opinion it's just lack of modern tyre choice  Bridgestone Continental Pirelli. Handling wise is not a problem.
More flckable than a my RR7

Lighter than the equivalent 17”, and because the mass of the rim is nearer to the hub, the rotating inertia is much less.
