A bit of Tail photo

    Sorry no tail here,

    I'm just after a photo of the lower part of the break light from a 2012 fireblade.

    I have recently had issues with the main wiring loom rotting away and having to be replace and am almost sure that its due to a gap between the break light and the fairing big enough to put a pinky into,
    I'm guessing this is where the water is getting in and that it shouldn't be there , so if any one that has a 2012 could upload a photo for me to compare I would be most grateful. :)

    hmm not really noticed.
    Ill look at mine and try to upload a piccy when I've finished work.

    Not sure if this is the area your meaning.
    Only bit I can see with a gap.

    Thanks zipster that's exactly the bit I mean , just doesn't look right to me being able to see into the bike from the back there but as your photos show it is. Thanks again.

    no problem mate glad it helped! sounds like i need a stock of GT85 then, as I ride in all weathers!

    Honda said it was the first time they had ever seen the issue and were that worried they had the dealer take loads of photos, wanted to know when I rode and where the bike had lived its life
