    Where you spray it on?

Want to put it on the inside of the chain not the outside, so from that think you are putting on the chain at the sprocket part on outside?

I spray both sides. I have to remove the "patented " guard when doing the other side. A minor design floor!

Just spray it on the underside of swingarm?

I put a bit of card behind chain also to stop covering the tyre etc.... Piece of piss on paddock stand

That sounds like a better method.

I put a bit of paper towel tucked into suspension linkage and spray on lower part of chain to inside links.

    No mess, no fuss.

no need to spray the outers of the links, all that will do will fling off and get the chain dirtier quicker.little bit of lube on the roller part of chain is all it needs.

    so,with that in mind,i'm also out :D

I spray it on the top of the chain under the swinging arm, then centrifugal force will push it out though the chain and prevent some fling.
