Have a look at the attached chart. The engine ran ok but made low power, with the power at the top falling away sharply like the bike was restricted. Once remapped it returned to rude health. The owner has no idea of the history of the bike, so I'm wondering if it was an import from somewhere (it's a track bike and not road registered). Does anyone know if the bike was sold in a lower power format somewhere in the world?

Cheers. I had a look and US spec bikes were making low to mid 140s in magazine tests at the time, so maybe that's it. Thanks again.

Lucky for the owner. He got it cheap, I guess that was why!
