As the waters recede it seems that much of the Tarmac in Devon has reverted to 'kit' form. Just add glue to reassemble. The big advantage of the blade is I see most of the potholes from further away than I do in the MX5. The flip side is that even if one does kill a wheel, I don't fall off the car. There's still enough slick mud out the to make life interesting, especially when tip toeing around roundabouts having Micras going past me on the outside (He had an unpleasant surprise once we'd straightened up though). Getting home though I noticed how shit bound the Blade is, but then so is the Mazda and so is the GTi so sod it. Time for some beer and some rugby.
Photographing a 90th birthday party this afternoon. Never seen so much ruched leather in one room this side of DFS. Tonight I'm photographing her son's 70th birthday and tomorrow I'm doing a 50th. I'll probably just leave them out in the rain...
I work for lots of elderly people and from experience you are 100 % right Giv. Some days I look at them and wonder if I will get paid an hour later ! They are great though, I have become good friends with many of them, funny how I get on better with old people.........probably because I am close to their age. Bike looks great Ken, makes me miss my 954.
