First job for the day was look into this bloody speedo problem.

took the tank cover of and propped the tank up and look straight down to the connector sor the speedo sensor. It looked kind of funny, Its a kind of see through connector and I could see what appeared to be bubbles inside. Dissconected it and green water came out. got my air line out and blasted it out. Sprayed aload of brake cleaner into it and brushed it off with a spaky plug cleaning brush squirted in more brake cleaner followed by the airline then a squirt of wd40.

Hopefully that has cured the problem.

Then I took the briken pannel off and re-alined all the cracks. Took the indicator off and got my dremel out. Made a V cut along all the cracks from the back side and filled with plastex. Then coated all the plastex in epoxy resin (after it had dried)

Looked at the time and thought bloody hell, Is that it? So went upstairs and put a generic map on my pcv and fitted that.

Put all the panels back on, Made sure the bike started and warmed her up and had a cup of tea.

Tomorrows jobs include clean the bike, Cant do it now. I want all that Plastex and Epoxy Resin 100% dry first.

Test ride to see if the pcv is opperating correctly

    Bring on tomorrow

Left the house in an awful hurry on Friday, mate. Forgot to pick up the indicator before I left. I'll try to remember on Monday :D

Fingers crossed you've got the speed sensor issue done Blue. It would be a surprise if the water ingress wasn't the main contributor. As I said I'll cross 'em for you.
