About to become a low mileage owner at last

    After 30+ years of high mileage commuting, I have moved our operation to the quaint market town of Dartford in Kentshire (someone has to try and promote the place).

    So that's it, no more grinding commuting runs into London, tank of fuel will last 2 weeks instead of 3 days, tyres lasting years instead of months......happy days.

    That's awesome mate.... Apart from the dartford aspect lol

    Wish I could get something local

    Although prob not ideal for most of your work mates!

    We all live within 10 miles, so everyone is happy for once.

    Swapping the bright lights of the City and streets paved with gold for 2 Wetherspoons and a high street full of pound and charity shops

    Actually in the high street? :( it's grim but could be worse.... Could be Chatham lol

    No we are not in the High St, but that's the reality of Dartford town centre

    I never envied anyone having to travel a long distance. I commute no more than 3 miles in total a day. Average mileage for my tin top in no more than 5k. The wife's car less than 5k. My 11 year old kit car only done 13k. My 4 yo blade only 8k. I enjoying driving and riding but as I don't need to commute much the miles are never added on
