have uploaded the brake bleeding process for the abs brakes cbr1000 from 2008 to 2013 models thought might be handy to someone as Honda just charged me £260. I was so pissed after I sat at home and dug about on internet for hours till I found this. and been told from Honda dealer that its the right process cause I went in and showed him I know how to do it myself and I downloaded a copy. and he looked and said its right am sure he wasn't happy I know it myself now lol so im sharing it to the world so Honda cant rip anymore people off...

Well I never why would anyone ever want to do a crazy thing like that to the Honda created c-abs system on their blade/baby blade..........Honda's c-abs system works magnificently and as specified by Honda's technical specifications............both Honda and vosa told me so!
I am new to the site but have just fitted a set of HEL stainless lines to mine, I now see why they are called hel you can't get them on trade description, the rear lines did not line up, the manifold should have a M5 tapped hole in but had a 5 mm hole this block I machined to a hexagon now looks ok, front line from master cyl the manifold was 180 deg out. the manifold down to the front calipers should be tapped M5 but again 5mm hole. I am an engineer and have a good workshop so can machine etc so hoses are now fitted, I thought I would firstly try standard bleed practices before going onto quantum physics better known as honda system bleed, mine has bled up ok, I shall post How I did it if anyone want to know its a bit late tonight
Good, Thanks man ! It will be useful for others like us who need to bleed the whole circuit of the c-abs system. I processed mine last november successfully (local honda dealder told me they are not used to do this operation - Unbelievable answer from Honda...) Hope it will last at least one year (due to the bad location of the front unit power which is located just behind the exhaust manifold).
