I’m always the first to complain when I think I’m being ripped off or given poor service etc, so I feel it is incumbent of me to ensure I give praise where praise is due. Vertu Honda calls to remind me that my 8000/ three year service was due, I took the opportunity to bring to their attention my disquiet regarding the cost of a brake fluid change (£365 quoted ABS). The service was going to be £215 and if I had the brake fluid changed at the same time he would do it for £250. Whilst it’s a lot of money for a brake fluid change, £365 down to £250 was at least a saving and it has to be done. Last week I picked the bike up and it took 5 minutes to go through what had been done, including removing the brake pads cleaning them and refitting etc etc, and yet the brake fluid was also change. Thank you sir that will be £250, £250 I said, yes sir he said, I was expecting a bill for £465. Thanks Grantham Honda nice job at a very reasonable price.
