    Hello

My alarm today has suddenly decided that it wants to go off randomly for no reason. Its giving me 4 beeps on the diagnostics which means its detected movement / nudging.

Its not windy here and no one has been near it.

Problem I have is I want to go out tonight but do not want it pissing the neighbours off by going off all night.

I can put it in convenience mode which turns movement sensors off but I think you can turn the movement sensor off permanently by doing this :-

    A. In high winds, the nudge sensor may activate the system. It will
determine the rocking is an attempt to remove items such as
fairing panels, seat or luggage. Too many ‘nudges’ in a set period
of time will result in a full reaction. You can remove this function,
and add it back when it suits you.
With the alarm disarmed, and the ignition switched on, press the ‘P’
button. This will toggle the pre-alert function off and on. (3 flashes - off
    and 6 flashes - on)

Does this mean it will remain premanently off even when I restart the bike etc until I decide to set it back on ?

Also - rather than risk it going off again is it best to just slap it in service mode, then I assume it will not go off even if someone triesw to hotwire it etc?

    cheers
    B

Battery may be low causing a drain effect symptom to the alarm.Service mode means its has no alarm. If it is a 2008-blade you are still protected by hiss.Hope that helps.

I had this and i took it back to the bike shop and they adjusted it down so the bike would have to be in the raised position before it went off ,a similar thing also happened were the magnet which was glued down so when you lifted the seat the other magnet parted had come loose and this caused a similar fault ( I have non on this bike thank god) what a load of bull shit )

Rip it out mate, Alarms are more hassle that they are worth in my honest opinion.
