advice on smiths racing resets to 09 blade onwards

Hi has any one had any issues fitting smiths racing resets particularly the gear leaver, where you remove the engine mount bolt and replace it with the boss that's supplied i have a clearance issue gear lever catches frame looks like I need to make a spacer to move leaver 10 mm away from frame between leaver and boss
