hi , i have been diagnosed with a serious lung disease and now the better half wants me to get rid of my bike because of being exposed to pollution , does anyone know of any good face masks that would filter out this crap so i can keep it , i know of bicycle courier ones but im not sure if the would fit under my lid

Same here gutted for you. I used to ware one, search for motorcycle pollution masks. Many people in the city etc ware them. Keep motorcycling if anything it's good for the soul. Good luck.
there is loads out there, it must be bad if you do need one My father has only one lung as the other was removed when he got TB so even a flu can lay him in hospital now but he has no problems on the bikes. I do know a lot of the face masks have charcoal layers for stopping pollution as standard.
