Does anyone know what, if any, is the difference between a standard 08 full set of fairings and an 08 ABS full set of fairings. I realise the ABS unit sits in the battery tray and hangs down and sticks out a bit on the underside of the sub frame but is there any fitting issues with the main body kit ?? cheers guys...
Not sure bout the main fairing. I've got an ABS and maybe it's different on the left to accomodate the plastic covers over the crankcase as there are ABS gubbins in there, not sure though. One place I think is different is the tail section, the non-ABS has what looks like a painted section that wraps around underneath whereas mine doesn't. Again not sure if this makes any odds....howz that for help? pretty useless I reckon!!
Yep, the ABS doesnt have the painted panel that sits under the tail section, it is replaced by a an unpainted black plastic housing for the SBS stuff. Aside from that, all panels are the same IIRC.
