i have recently sold my 1000rr5 track bike to a mate, i had to change the radiator because i thought a stone had gone through it but it now looks like under heavy braking the wheel comes back all the way to the radiator, nothing seems bent or twisted so im at a bit of a loss

The wheel should be nowhere near the rad mate no matter how hard you are braking. Something is a miss.

The wheel must be sitting very close to the rad as it stands otherwise that is a lot of movment and you would know with the smallest of inspections

Can you get some pics up so we can see what we are dealing with ?

Check the rad is located properly, the bottom ally bracket is bolted to the sump.
Problem seems to have cropped up only when the rad was changed?

Bloody hell if the front wheel was that far it it would ride like a wheel barrow!!! as the man above says its gotta be incorrect rad fitment or a MAsooooove rad ;)

Agreed ,, its gotta be the rad to far forward otherwise major issues would be aparrent if the wheel was that far back
