Hi Folks Still in the Hunt for a new lid. Always had Arai's, they fit, but really fancy a change, and something quieter. I was particularly taken with the Schuberth SR1, but didn't fit, shame really as lovely piece of kit. The AGV GP Tech looks great, read some decent reviews, but was hoping someone here used one and could give opinions/review. Haven't tried one yet, but I'm reading that alot of Arai shaped heads find them agreeable. Any thought much appreciated folks. Cheers Mike
I have an Arai head and normally find Schuberth a good fit as well, however when I've tried on any AGV I couldn't get them off quick enough. Shame really as I loved the look of them. Currently have a Shark S990-C if that info is any use to you.
Got a AGV GP Tech an absolutely love it Mike. Never could get comfortable in a Shoei or Arai an had Suomy which was a good but real heavy. Thing I love about the GP Tech is it's so light an has a high back. Its real comfortable and plush inside. Absolutely happy with it, I just knew it was for me the second I tried it on. Noise wise, hard to give you an accurate comment on that as my hearing's not good anyways. I also read a lot of reviews on the GP Tech before hand an they were mainly very positive an I can add to them as a positive reviewer, yeah dead happy. Try before you buy tho mate
I have had 2 arai and loved them tried my gp tech on seems a little less noiser but the fit is perfect for me I used to get a bit of temple push with the arai and after a few hours on the saddle a headache but I though I had a arai head until I banged this on
I have had 2 GP techs. Love them. Great quality, plush inside. And most importantly, fits my heed perfectly!! You can mix and match inners for an even better fit
