Just got up and a shockwave hit my house Turns out a house 2 streets down had a gas explosion... literally nothing left never seen so many sirens Apparently family is on holiday thank god House sitter will be getting a bollocking
Happened up our way a few years back and wiped out the whole family inside and writ off the other houses in the street. So lucky no one was in there this time.
Apparently there was 1 guy killed You must live near my mate, Tyke. I'm often around those streets. He lives just near the shops on Ploughlands.
Sorry to hear that one guy has died Almost happened us, a few years back my wife hung a big picture close to a gas fire, during the night the nail sheared, the picture slid down the wall the cut through the gas fire pipe ( was a heavy picture) we woke we to a very bad smell of gas, it was dark and my wife went to put on the light, I stopped her and used my torch instead, just one spark would have killed us both I reckon God knows how long gas had been pouring into the house?
