Is the mod worth doing? Many gains/negatives?
Is it a pig to complete?

Not something that's gonna add power. Did mine while it was in bits anyway, more so that I didn't have to faff every time I took the panels off. Easy to do.... does if anything feel a little smoother than the snatch it used to have from closed throttle and had a little more induction noise from the get go which is the reason for it being there to quieten it all down.

Less what you mean is the smog plate mod then it's nowt to do with this lol

The noise... my bike sounds insane!

The noise... I now have to wear earplugs for all rides!

Yes, that's the mod I was on about. Purely for noise regs or does it act for something else?

Like the idea of getting rid of all that unnecessary stuff. Is there a guide knocking about anywhere?

I've searched but cannot seem to find a guide as of yet. I've read about folk just blanking it off with a screw though.

if your talking about the pair valve, just remove it and either fold over the tubes, tie off wioth a cable tie,or fill with silicone and ram a tight fitting screw/bolt into it,secure with lock wire,or buy the proper blanking plates.job done.

Think I'd rather follow a guide rather than just pulling bits off haha
