air flap mod

Well today i decided to do the air flap mod, took about 2 hours no f1 light so far tick over is good. going out for a run tomorrow so will see if its any smoother low down in the revs.
this is what i removed
The only problem i had is i have lost the gromet that attaches the air duct cover to the nose cone does anyone know where it ends up,

 

I took the flaps out as well when I did mine

 

I bought my old 08 with this done, tried them connected and thought it was smoother on light throttle so left it all as normal
