    hello ladies & gents.....

currently own a few bikes including my beloved honda sp2 which i binned in november when a taxi did a Uey on me.... it was 'repaired' by MCE's repairer 4th dimension, who made a right pigs ear of it.

the resulting threats of death ended up with them offering to swap it for a brand new 2011 blade.
i said no ta. but then decided i'd have a 2013 instead.

so in the next few days my sp2 will be gone and there will be a nice shiny new hrc colours blade in the garage :)

much as i regret losing my sp, i must confess i am looking forward to the new bike :D

anyway.... as i cant leave fk all alone, no doubt i will be ripping bits off and making it my own, starting with getting rid of the awful wheelie bar and replacing it with an r&g tidy, or similar (suggestions pls)

and also, a power commander question.... curently i have a pc3 usb on the sp2, which i will be taking off along with all the other bling.
is anyone running a pc3 on the 08-13 blades, and can someone post up a pic of the plugs pls...
as i want to see if i can fit the one i have to the blade, or if it means selling it and getting a pcv, or bazzaz.

interested to hear your suggestions :)

Welcome aboard sir. I'm based in St Helen's and work in Warrington by Walton hall park. You'll enjoy the new Blade, lets see some pics of it and the SP of course. I'm sure the PC3 will go on but your in the best place to get all the advice you'll ever need from loads of experts here who've done it all.

ha lol lee ye a few of them know, ive been pestered to death in pm!!!
the guys over on the vtr site have been desperately trying to get me to keep the sp, but realistically, its done 28k now, by next year it'll be on 50k and it'll only be worth 3k - 3500 tops.
got to be realistic.... ive still kept the firestorm for vee twin grins, but im long due a change anyway.

good choice on the tuono btw - when can i have a go :D

hello and welcome mate, those VTR's are a thing of beauty

i cant be sure on your power commander question but i would doubt your pc3 from the vtr will be compatible with an inline 4, but i am probably wrong

and those ped's are bloody fast when tuned, just not with a 16 year old tracksuit bottom wearing youth ridding 1

a whole string of fk ups.
    where do i start!
when it was dropped off, i wasnt there - came home to find indicator lens on the floor next to the bike.
first ride after getting it back, coolant pissing all over the rear tyre and nearly had me off - theyd fitted a new lh rad, not done up the clips and overfilled the res.
then came out of some twisties - wheres me fkin gear lever? fell off cos they hadnt put the locknuts back on the adjuster. nearly binned again.
then went to fuel up, turn right into garage... steering locked solid cos the intake servo had fell off and was wedged between the yokes and frame. shit meself.

took it home and went right through it - found the pinchbolts and top nut not even fingertight on the top yoke, 2 bolts missing from the fairing. piss poor alignment of the new lh panel so its rubbed the lacquer off the frame where it was touching.
spray painted bar ends over the anodised finish, now look very used.
theyd refitted my old hrc tank pad on a new tank, and its half peeled off. looks crap.
the scuffed lh headlamp - theyd polished the scuff out and it looks milky compared to the crystal clear rh lens, and the back of the lamp theyve attempted to repair it by smudging araldite over it - looks shite and shows light thru which is very distracting.

the top yoke was kinked by the lh clip-on moving in the retaining slot. there are none left in the world, unobtainable part.
so they told me theyd repaired it and had it x rayed.... i said fk off. i do NDT at work and i dont believe you. i want the certs of conformity and the name & addy of the tester pls.

it was at that point they offered me the blade lol.

they best fkin get a move on as well. my renewal is due in a few days and i want it sorting before then or it goes to court, simple as that. they fkt my bike up.

so - if you are insured with MCE and happen to bin, do not let their appointed repairer 4th dimension take your bike as they are fkin monkeys.
and dont use their solicitors (fletchers) either as they are equally wank.
