    Hey guys..
I`ve acquired a very nice titanium Akra end can for my RR5, now I swear I saw a pictorial tutorial (nice rhyme) on how to get the oem exhaust and bits n bobs off and fit a replacement...I think it was a scorpion but not sure...anyhow I`ve searched but can`t find it now  Anyone have a link to help me out?
    Cheers

You are gonna need the pipe that goes from the can to the joint at the right hand side heelplate area too. Its a fecker to get the can to be pointing strait out. I just dived in and did it after hesitating for days. I had to cut the original heatshield and reuse it on the Micron I fitted, looks awful if you don't cut it so make sure have some tinsnips to do it. As for the taking apart bit, remove seat and cowl, remove tail fairing, remove rhs rearset, remove heatshield, remove flapper cables, undo exhaust conection behind rearset, undo and remove 2 bolts supporting endcan and remove whole exhaust. when reversing the above to fit the new can you will have to split the rear subframe to fit the can hanger between the 2 halves unless your hanger fits to the previously removed can bolts. Cut heatshield to size and reuse. DO NOT rotate the cams that operate the flapper cables when removing, mark their position before starting in case, this avoids fault code problems. probs lots I have forgotten and Im sure someone will jump in and add/correct what i missed.

Hey guys, I've started this mod but mine is an RR5 so the servo cables go 'from' the mid pipe assembly and run under the petrol tank to the left hand side and connect there...so do I disconnect them from both areas or is it better to just disconnect them from the mid pipe assembly and cable tie them up somehow? How would I go about marking up the cams? Also do I need to unplug the 6pin multiplying connector to the servo wiring?
Cheers guys, all help gratefully accepted :)
