morning gents, My missus brought me a new Akra slip on for Easter (she's a keeper!) off flea bay. The issue is she has got the one suitable for the 2013 blade (model:S-H10SO6T-TT) however, I have a 14 blade... My question is, how much of an issue is this? Is it still good to fit, or should I get rid and try to get the other model designed for that year? Cheers for your help!
Unfortunately it's not going to fit - on the 2014 bikes, the header pipe on to which you would connect the Akra link pipe is larger in diameter (I think because the cat was moved into the headers) so the Akra link pipe you have will not fit.
Buy a set of earlier headers, you'll benefit from not having the cat in them and can be picked up very cheap on ebay
