AKRAPOVIC Carbon or Carbon Yoshimura R-77 on RR8

Hi Guys

Sorry if this has been asked 4 billion times already but I couldn't find anything even after reading the 25 page exhaust thread.

So I have shortlisted the exhaust I wanted down to the above two. I currently have a piece of crap two brothers M2 which is stupidly loud and I want to swap it for something a bit more stealthly in looks and volume..

I think both look great but which one has the best build quality and is the quietest ?

I'd like to run whichever one I pick as quiet as possible, so will install the db killer if one is supplied.

I've found an excellent condition R77 for £350 or is it worth saving up for an AKRAPOVIC ?

 

I've had both ... the R77 is a good exhaust and sounds superb, but the akrapovic looks better, is better built and runs better ...

I've read that after a year the R77 looks really haggard did you have any experience of that ?

How much louder is the R77 ?

Bought my r77 second hand and used it for a year myself. End can still looks brand new, s bend isnt too clean but its had a year of road shite thrown at it and baked on but stull not too bad. Just took it off yesterday... this is before i clean it as i need mr OCD's advice

 

End can took off lastnight ready to clean up.

How many miles do you do roughly a year?

Any idea which is louder with the baffles inserted between the Akra and R-77 ?

 

Done 5k with the r77 last year. Volume wise its perfect for me as i get 102db without the baffle which is the limit for my local track and i assume alot of uk tracks. Never tried it with the baffle.
