For sale is my titanium end can, titanium link pipe, baffle and springs off my 06 fireblade. The bike had just short of 500 miles on it before I removed the can. Apart from the usual marks around the carbon strap, the can is spotless. On the bike, it looks and sounds immaculate. Would £300+P&P be a fair price? Can't get my pics to upload but I'll email them to you if that helps

    Thanks
    James

Sorry, that should have been 5000 miles on the bike!

I usually upload to Photobucket but you can upload to this forum by creating an album... I think you do this from your profile page.

Edit: just checked and you need to go to Profile using link at top of web page once you are logged in. Then on left of your Profile page is an "Albums" section. Click that and you should see a Create new Album button... the rest is straightforward. Then when writing a post you can choose to insert an image from your album... just make sure the album is marked "public" or no one else will be able to see the pics.

Most forums have a "how to" guide explaining the various ways to upload pics and include them in posts... can't find one for this forum... anyone know if/where there is one?

Your post above hasnt quite worked, but I managed to find your Photobucket account to view the pics...... looks very nice, and I'm very interested.
Can you just confirm which model of Akrapovic it is? Is it definetely the "road" can?

How was the running on your RR6, did you fit a Power Commander?

All your pics seem to show the top (i.e. hidden) side of the can... or at least I think they do... can you confirm, and post some pics of the underside (i.e. exposed) side of the can?

I have put the pics in this post for everyone:

The pipe comes with baffle so i reckon its the proper road can- it's also "e1"-etched. It's passed MOT twice with the baffle in- in fact the testers mocked me last year for going to the bother of baffling up! The model number etched on the can under the Akrapovic logo is M-HW00105. Picture 2 is of the can's underside- you can just make out the rubber stud that hides the bolt when the baffle is bolted in. My bike ran without a PC and i found no problems at all. in fact, i've just switched to an 08 blade and personally i reckon the fuelling was smoother and the midrange had more stomp on my 06 bike. You already know my skills with photos but if you'd like a pic of the etched numbers and logos, i can upload that to photobucket for you

Thanks very much for all of your help with the photo business. i really appreciate your helpful advice and your finding my pics and putting them up for me.

If you get the photos to Photobucket, and you are viewing the thumbnails, point to a picture and you get 4 codes below... click IMG code, and it will auto copy the link to your clipboard.

Then when you post in the forum, paste the link you just copied and you get the pic in your thread...
