Hi, New to the forum and this is my first post... I own a 2009 CBR1000RR which I have just converted to a track bike. Have just got the bike back from having a few bits and bobs fitted one of which is the Full Titanium Evolution System, just wondered if anybody else has one of these on theirs and how they get on with Noise Testing on track days? Seems loud as fook... Thanks and hello again!
Welcome, I have a full system but not the Evolution fitted and think you might struggle without the baffle. Check Akrapovics web site they list the db output.
Hi, Thanks Mr B. Had a look on their website they seem to be quoting 101db @6000rpm...for both the Racing Line and the Evolution Line. Do you have to use the baffle in yours to pass noise testing? Thanks
Okey dokey, think I'd better get a baffle to be safe and a map switch... Be interesting to hear from anyone that has done trackdays (or hasn't If too loud) with either system fitted... Stupid regulation really if you're using a branded exhaust (prevents home made jobs)...why live near a track if you're going to complain about the noise?? Unless it's late at night, which doesn't happen anyway... Hey ho. Thanks
