So, have had some bling added to bike - asv levers, hugger, radiator cover, seat cover and the very loud akrapovic megaphone exhaust.

It is "people stop and stare in the street" loud. I can live with that (though neighbours might start to get a little fed up with my 6.30am daily wake up..), but looking to book Silverstone track day next month and worried will fail the noise limit. Akrapovic details it as 110db at 6750 revs. I have seen that a baffle is available as an optional extra. Anyone used it and does it bring the noise down to enough to get through the noise test?

    Thanks

Is it a "legal" can? Just curious that's all as I am looking for something for mine.

It came as part of the package from the dealer when I bought the bike. Didn't look into much at the time, just focused on the fact it looked great! Looking into it there is no e-mark so not legal - verified when you listen to it. Does sound great though and is 4kg lighter than the stock can so I can avoid the salads..

Have ordered the baffle from Calsport so will let you know how much difference that makes.

I'd be surprised if it passes a sound check anywhere. My racefit blows around 120 db at 5 plus K revs and not a hope in hell of getting on track with it.
